This new bar brings a little Nashville to Dallas with a tavern setting complete with a southern-inspired menu, great drinks, live music including classic country, bluegrass, and other country subgenres. The bar has multiple stages, a wide outdoor patio and an eye-catching 80-foot shotgun bar fashioned out of a Cypress tree. Try the chicken fried steak or the pretzel and meat board, then afterwards dance the night away to your favorite country songs.
2. Vidorra
The latest restaurant in Deep Ellum has the perfect ambiance and design for a happy hour that turns into a late night. With a beautiful rooftop bar that oversees the busiest corridor in the neighborhood and Downtown Dallas, Vidorra offers a good time complete with tequila flights and oversized margaritas. For an added bonus, Vidorra is serving top-notch Tex-Mex cuisine with some of the best chips and salsa in the area.
3. Ruins
Since its opening, Ruins has become a popular spot in Deep Ellum. From the team behind Armoury D.E., a longtime Deep Ellum go-to spot, Ruins offers a bohemian atmosphere with Latin folk art and décor. The bar specializes in mezcal-based cocktails and is only one of two places in Dallas to make a tlayuda – a traditional Oaxacan dish – while also serving other Central American-enthused dishes.
