- Movies in the Park in Uptown Dallas's Griggs Park at 8 p.m. every Tuesday in September! Movies and popcorn are free and open to the public. The Uptown Block Party on Sept. 28 features free concerts, food, games, photo ops a market, and much more.

Football, Festivities and Fair Fun
- It wouldn't be fall without football! The Dallas Cowboys kick off their 2023 season against the Giants on road on Sunday, Sept. 10 but return for their first home game of the regular season vs. the Jets on Sunday, September 17 at AT&T Stadium. - Beginning Sept. 16, the Dallas Arboretum brings in 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash to celebrate Autumn at the Arboretum. Now in its 18th year, they've created a new pumpkin village location behind the Jonsson Color Garden. Your kids are sure to love the theme this year: 'It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown®'! Displays will feature the return of the Peanuts Gang, along with themed pumpkin houses that make up the acclaimed Pumpkin Village, and of course, a maze for younger visitors.

Fall Pride
Visit Dallas invites you to experience a few unforgettable LGBTQ+ events over the next several months, starting with Pride in Dallas from September 10 to 17. Our vibrant community welcomes everyone to come and celebrate diversity, acceptance, and love all week long, with the main event - the Pride Parade - held on September 17th.
Also during that week is Texas Latino Pride Fest – September 16. Come and celebrate our Latinx and LGBTQ+ community in Texas with music, food and fun!
