Cinco de Mayo Along the Margarita Mile
A trio of spots to explore as you celebrate.
Cinco de Mayo is best celebrated in Dallas by enjoying the best tequila, tacos and frozen margs in town. Here's what's happening along the Margarita Mile for Cinco de Mayo.
Taqueria La Ventana
Downtown
In its ninth year of Cinco De Mayo celebrations, La Ventana will be throwing another fun-filled celebration on May 5 featuring live music, drink specials and more. While all La Ventana locations will be in on the fun, you can only earn your Margarita Mile check-in at their Downtown location. Pro tip: when you're done with the festivities, walk on over to El Fenix and Meso Maya for easy check ins at two other Mile stops.
The Rustic
Uptown
The Rustic is the spot in Dallas to catch live music on any given day, and its Cinco De Mayo line up will be no different. Gather your friends and safely celebrate the day on their Texas-sized patio with a margarita in tow, enjoying live tunes. While you're there, be one of the first to get a taste of the latest fine Tex-Mex spot to hit the town: Joe Leo. Joe Leo is a new restaurant from FreeRange Concepts, the team behind The Rustic and other hot spots around town. Their debut opening is on Cinco De Mayo and you'll be able to sample their tacos at The Rustic's celebrations.
Jose
North Dallas
Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You! What better day to celebrate Jose's fourth birthday than on Cinco De Mayo? Visit Jose on May 5 to enjoy live mariachis, DJs and lots of other fun surprises! Don't miss their Squozen frozen margarita and Chef Anastacia Quinones-Pittman's one-of-a-kind Guadalajaran-inspired dishes.
